Einstein's Begonia

"Einstein's" Begonia

Moving from Germany to teach at Princeton University, Albert Einstein had a begonia he kept as a houseplant. This begonia is a hybrid, Begonia 'Lucerna'; a hybrid of Begonia teuscheri and Begonia coccinea. This begonia lives on today through a select few that have kept the plant alive, propagating with water, sun and love.

Rare indeed, lucky are those who have been gifted this gem of history. Those in possession are certainly smarter for having.

Excellent source of oxygen for the brain, this flowering plant LOVES water and is an easy care plant.
